Members’ Society

There’s nowhere more suitable to start golf than here at Broadwater

You pay your subs and go playing golf all year round, at no extra cost. The members’ society holds roll-ups during the week and regular competitions on a Saturday, so you can gain an official golf handicap if you wish.

Broadwater Park offers a relaxed and friendly environment to play in, with the chance to meet new golfing partners. We see Broadwater Park as a stepping stone to the 18-hole golf course. Learn and establish yourself as a golfer, and you will gain confidence and improve your technique when playing on a longer golf course.

Every Saturday morning, the Course is reserved entirely for the Society’s use, when members compete in medal and Stableford competitions, with prizes being awarded to the winners and runners-up. After competitions, members have an informal lunch and get-together in the Club House.

The Society organizes matches both home and away during the year with other local clubs. A charity day is held annually to help support local organizations.

We have a thriving junior section that is encouraged to take part in Saturday competitions. Matches against junior sections are also arranged. Do not miss a chance to place a bet on some of your favorites. We are very proud that many of our Broadwater Juniors have gone onto play at a high standard.

We would be very pleased to have you join us for a game of golf either during the week or on Saturday morning.  The emphasis is on playing golf and having fun!
